Raj Shah, CEO of Registrar Corp
Raj Shah
CEO

Raj Shah was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in October 2023. Raj brings 25 years of expertise in building world-class teams and scaling technology companies to take advantage of market opportunities. He most recently served as Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Vector Solutions, one of the largest compliance software and training companies in the world. At Vector, he built the company’s long-term product vision and designed go-to-market strategies.

Raj was also the Founder and CEO of CareSafely, the first safety and compliance software platform built for the unique needs of the senior care sector. He was also the President of Alchemy Systems, the global leader in online safety training for the food industry. In addition, Raj has served as Chief Marketing Officer at several successful SaaS companies and earned his MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern).

David Lennarz

David Lennarz
Co-Founder and President

David co-founded Registrar Corp in 2003. He has worked for nearly 22 years in FDA-regulated industries in the U.S. and Europe, conducting seminars on FDA regulations for trade associations, trade shows, and governments around the world. David also served as a Technical Expert for FDA’s Foreign Facility Registration Verification Program operated by the Division of Field Investigations.

Tommy Fass

Co-Founder and President

Tommy has spent over 30 years in leadership positions in the food and beverage and regulatory industries. Before co-founding Registrar Corp in 2003, he also served as co-founder and President of ContactDirect (1999-2003) and International Seafood Distributors (1989-1999).

Philip Edge

Philip Edge
Chief Technology Officer

Philip came to Registrar Corp in 2022 with more than 22 years of experience in M&A, SaaS product development, software engineering, and cybersecurity. Before joining Registrar Corp, he held leadership positions in several industries including eLearning, food safety and compliance, digital payments, call center management, technology consulting and recruiting. Philip holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University.

Jack Harden

Jack Harden
VP of Global Sales and Client Services

During his more than 15 years in sales, Jack has led revenue functions for companies from Series A through Fortune 1,000, spanning industries including HCM, FinTech, and consulting services. Throughout his career, he’s been regularly recognized for driving unprecedented revenue growth. Jack joined Registrar Corp in March 2020 as Head of Sales. Jack graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA with a BA in European & Russian History.

Tim Rourk

Tim Rourk
VP of Product

Tim brings nearly 20 years of product leadership, data analytics, and strategy experience in B2B, B2C, and SaaS software to Registrar Corp. His strategic background in technology manufacturing, banking and capital markets, food safety, and eLearning helps him create value-centric products that align customer experience with organizational growth. Tim holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Gina Shand
Director of Human Resources

Gina’s passion for talent acquisition, employee engagement and relations, and career development has been cultivated across a variety of Fortune 100 companies and start-up environments. She is an SHRM Senior Certified Professional and holds a BS in Sociology and Criminal Justice from James Madison University.

Ed Haft

Ed Haft
Chair

Ed brings more than 35 years of experience as a consumer-packaged goods and food manufacturing executive to Registrar Corp. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English Literature from Tufts University and an MBA from Northwestern University. Ed also serves on the boards of Lyons Magnus, Prima Wawona, and Urban Farmer.  

Angelos Dassios

Angelos Dassios

Angelos has a passion for sustainable food chain investing and has been a private equity investor for over 20 years. He currently leads Paine Schwartz Partners’ investing activities as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner and serves on the boards of HGS BioScience, Kynetec, Lyons Magnus, and Sterilex. Raised in Chicago, Illinois, Angelos is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics.    

Brian Thies

Brian Thies

Brian is a Director at Paine Schwartz Partners and previously worked at WireCo WorldGroup, a Fund III portfolio company, as a Senior Analyst, and then as Manager of Corporate Development and Strategy. He currently also serves on the board of Sterilex. Brian is from Overland Park, Kansas, and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Accounting. 

Colleen Akehurst

Colleen Akehurst

Colleen has over 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, previously serving as CEO of food technology startup FoodBerry and CEO of a family-owned branded CPG company. She’s currently a Managing Partner of Paine Schwartz Partners. Raised near Baltimore, Maryland, she holds a Master of Science in Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University.
