U.S. FDA Qualified Facility Attestation
Very small businesses (“Qualified Facilities”) are eligible for exemption from certain FDA food safety requirements, such as the development of HARPC Food Safety Plans and Supply Chain Programs. To take advantage of these exemptions, facilities must submit a “Qualified Facility Attestation” to FDA by December 17, 2018.
If you don’t know whether your facility qualifies as a very small business, use Registrar Corp’s free Qualified Facility Wizard to determine if you are eligible.
Registrar Corp provides guidance on submitting Qualified Facility Attestation to FDA as part of our FDA Registration Renewal service, in addition to numerous other year-round benefits. All food facilities are required to renew their FDA registrations between October 1 and December 31, 2018.
