U.S. FDA FSMA Food Safety Plans
Under the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011 (“FSMA”), certain food facilities registered with the U.S. FDA must write and implement Food Safety Plans. Although some facilities may have existing food safety programs (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, etc.), FSMA Food Safety Plans rely on different HARPC (Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Control) standards.
Registrar Corp’s Food Safety Specialists are Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals (“PCQIs”) and can develop a new Food Safety Plan for your facility or review your current plan and documentation.
