The Seafood Value-Added Marketing Workshop is a one-day event showing how three processors go about doing value added. Products that are in various stages of development will be demonstrated and beginning marketing efforts for them discussed. Seafood marketers will discuss learning experiences they have had with other value-added products, including failures and overcoming difficulties. Brokers will discuss value-added trends in the market place. Military value-added needs will be discussed.
Registrar Corp will present on what is required to obtain certification from British Retail Consortium (BRC) or Safe Quality Food (SQF) for seafood processors.
