A bar-coded Prior Notice Confirmation Number issued by FDA and U.S. Customs (“CBP”) must accompany most shipments. FCE registration and scheduled process filings are required for low-acid and acidified foods that may be consumed in the U.S. Non-compliant foods may be refused entry by FDA and U.S. Customs.
