U.S. and non-U.S. companies that manufacture or distribute Cosmetics in the United States may file a Cosmetic Product Ingredient Statement (CPIS) with FDA. Many companies find it commercially beneficial to file a voluntary CPIS with FDA although filing may not be used for marketing purposes.
Registrar Corp offers a service to file and maintain ingredient statements from start to finish, including:
- Determining the correct names and codes for your Cosmetic ingredients
- Maintaining and updating your CPIS with FDA
- Providing a Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar Corp for each successfully filed CPIS
